Sebastian Stan was named as the week’s “Hump Day Hottie” last September 16, 2009. Stan was tapped as the hottie for the week by MTV’s Hollywood Crush, following his appearance on Gossip Girl’s season 3 premiere.

For an interview, Sebastian was asked to name some of his favorite things. He named Sean Penn as his favorite actor, and reading as his favorite pastime. Sebastian also mentioned the colors black and red, and the dessert tiramisu as some of his favorites.

In an interview on MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung, Sebastian claims that his most prized possession is a candle holder that belonged to James Dean. A producer he worked with gave Sebastian the item, because the young actor reminded him of the iconic James Dean.

Sebastian Stan cites playwright Eric Bogosian’s subUrbia as the work responsible for getting him into Rutgers University. He auditioned for the university’s Mason Gross School of the Arts using a monologue from subUrbia. He also ended up performing the play while at Rutgers.

In an interview with MTV’s Alexa Chung, Sebastian Stan says the most dramatic alteration of his appearance was for his play Talk Radio. According to Sebastian, the blond hair he had for 6 months was the biggest change he had to go through for a role.

After seeing Sebastian Stan’s work in a play, director Jonathan Demme gave him a part for the movie Rachel Getting Married. The role of Walter in the film was created specifically for Sebastian by Demme.

Sebastian appeared in Hayden Panettiere’s music video Wake Up Call in 2008.

Sebastian suffers from Vertigo.

When Sebastian Stan was 8 years old, he moved from Romania to Vienna, Austria. He made the move with his single mother who was employed as a pianist.
