Visiting Applause NYC

Applause NYC (202 East 77th Street) was star powered recently as Romanian born American actor Sebastian Stan made his debut as a guest instructor on Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Sebastian spent time teaching Applause students “On Camera (acting for TV and film) as a part of the Applause NYC’s master classes.

Stan is best known for playing Prince Jack Benjamin on the television drama KINGS and Carter Baizen on the hit television series GOSSIP GIRLS.

In NYC, Applause is the go to place for casting directors, producers, talent scouts in NYC and LA. The school receives a daily influx of calls from these industry professionals seeking recommendations from Applause for kids to audition for their upcoming television, film and theater projects. The new classes being launched and taught by industry professionals, guest celebrities and more continue to follow the amazing reputation and tradition of excellence Applause has stood by for the last 14 years.

Audrey Kaplan, its founder and a former student of Stagedoor Manor where for years she was surrounded by top of the line performing arts training, remembers what it’s like to be properly prepared to enter the professional world. She is passionate about being able to offer the decision makers in Hollywood and New York the most prepared and talented kids ready to take the next step and start to work professionally.
